Safe Kids Day Bash

Safe Kids Bash is an educational event for the community that promotes injury prevention, safety awareness, and health and wellness in a variety of different areas. Safe Kids Day is held each year in the summer following Safe Kids Month in May. 

The first year saw approximately 500 people in attendance with 28 different vendors offering resources in our community for families. TriCHD gave away 50 bookbags with school supplies, bike helmets, life jackets and many other fun prizes. 

This year TriCounty Health Department combined its Safe Kids Day Bash and Community Appreciation Event. The event saw a record number of attendees and included outdoor games, face painting, informational handouts and prizes from partners, and free meal vouchers to the first 300 attendees.
