Emergency Preparedness
TriCounty Health Department's Emergency Preparedness division helps ensure that the community is ready for, can respond to, and can recover from public health emergencies. These emergencies may include disease outbreaks, natural disasters, bioterrorism events, extreme weather, or any situation that threatens the health and safety of the public.
The Emergency Preparedness Division makes sure the community is ready for anything that could affect public health. It prepares in advance, coordinates during crises, supports response operations, and helps the community recover. Its work ensures that when an emergency happens, the health department — and the community — can respond quickly, effectively, and safely.
