Recreational Camps:

Recreational camps must be permitted by TriCounty Health Department to ensure that there is safe drinking water, proper waste disposal, and other adequate environmental health factors. If you are thinking about opening your own recreational camp, please fill out the following application and submit it to TriCounty Health. We are happy to go over any questions you may have about the process to get your business up and running.

Temporary Labor Communities:

TriCounty Health Department oversees temporary labor communities — such as seasonal farmworker housing or short-term worker camps — to ensure they are safe, sanitary, and suitable for human habitation. Regulation typically happens through standards, permitting, and ongoing oversight. Each temporary labor community is required to be permitted by TriCounty Health Department.
