Maternal & Child Health Services

A healthy lifetime starts with a healthy childhood. Regular health checks and developmental screenings help parents and doctors understand how a child is growing physically, emotionally, and socially. Many developmental delays or health issues are easier to treat when they’re found early. These visits also give families a chance to ask questions, learn about milestones, and get help if something seems off.

TriCounty Health Department is proud to offer programs aimed giving children and their families the necessary tools and support to help make sure children are growing, learning, and staying healthy the way they should.

Baby Your Baby

The key to a healthy pregnancy and newborn is early and ongoing prenatal care. The Baby Your Baby program is a presumptive Medicaid program designed to assist eligible pregnant women with obtaining prenatal care, including prenatal appointments, ultrasounds, prenatal lab work, and prenatal vitamins, while in the process of applying for Medicaid. The Baby Your Baby program also provides perinatal education and follow-ups to high-risk mothers that apply for the program. Baby Your Baby is intended to provide short term care and does not cover labor or delivery.

  1. Pregnant
  2. Utah Resident
  3. U.S. Citizen or Lawfully Admitted Permanent Resident
