Community Appreciation Event

TriCounty Health held its inaugural Community Appreciation Event was on June 1, 2023. Department staff decided to host a free barbeque in appreciation of all the community does to support public health. The Community Appreciation Barbeque featured bounce houses, music, and face painting.

While the event itself changes and rotates throughout different locations each year, the sentiment is the same: TriCounty Health Department staff members love their community!

2026 Event: Safe Kids Day & Community Appreciation Bash
This year TriCounty Health Department combined its Safe Kids Day Bash and Community Appreciation Event. The first 300 attendees chose from one of three local food trucks for a free lunch, outdoor games, demonstrations from emergency vehicles, information from partner booths, and free kids safety related prizes.

2025 Event: Pancakes & Public Health

TriCounty Health Department held a free community appreciation breakfast to show its love for public health and our community in celebration of National Public Health Week.

2024 Event: Luau in the Park
TriCounty Health Department held a free community appreciation bash at Constitution Park in Roosevelt. The event featured free dinner from Grab-N-Growl Dutch Oven Catering, face painting, bounce houses, and prize basket drawings.
