Measles Outbreak Updates

On March 2, 2026 TriCounty Health Department (TriCHD) confirmed its first measles cases in the area. Measles is a virus that spreads through the air when someone coughs or sneezes. Due to the highly contagious nature of this virus and the lengthy incubation period, TriCHD asks for community cooperation in preventing the spread.

As the outbreak continues, please visit Utah's Measles Outbreak Response Dashboard for updated information on measles case counts, exposure locations, and other important details. TriCHD will publish official updates when information specific to the region becomes relevant.

*The state's measles diagnoses count is updated weekly and may not reflect new cases until the next week.
